About Massage

There are many forms of massage scattered about the world, rich in their own history and culture, practiced for thousands of years to ease the aches and pains our bodies suffer through life.

What is the right kind of massage for you?

Are you tired or are the general stressors of life making you feel sluggish and slow? Other than Shiatsu and Foot Reflexology which work to increase the energetic level of the body as a whole and thus improve quality of life, classic forms of massage are also highly beneficial in restoring energy levels.

  • Massage will not cure illnesses, but may allow the mind and body to relax enough that it can begin to cure itself on its own.

  • Classic massage is contraindicated when someone is sick with a fever or infection because the act of physically pushing the blood at a higher rate throughout the body can spread the illness quicker (same if someone is taking a strong medication, massage will increase the speed at which the medication enters the blood stream, occasionally causing unwanted results.).

  • It is recommended that you consult your Doctor before receiving treatment if you have any serious concerns.

  • I perform therapeutic massage treatments and all of my clients are treated with the utmost professionalism.
